Celebrating 50 Years Of Child Pool Safety
The Katchakid pool net cover was created with the safety of children in mind. After a catastrophic pool accident witnessed by our President and founder, Blair Esson, the Katchakid pool net cover invention came to fruition. As a father of his own young kids, Blair was driven to develop a solution to prevent other families from experiencing the same devastation and heartbreak.
Pool safety technology has come a long way since 1972 when Blair Esson started manufacturing pool safety nets in Johannesburg, South Africa. And Katchakid has been at the forefront of making pools safe for everyone with aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-operate swimming pool safety equipment.
As one of the most respected names in the industry, Katchakid has a lot to celebrate as we reach our 50th anniversary as a company. Today, we have multiple locations throughout the United States and are industry leaders in pool safety innovation.
We’ve accomplished some remarkable things in these 50 years of business, including being praised for our integrity, craftsmanship and standards in child pool safety systems.
