With a firm commitment to customer satisfaction, we firmly back our products and safeguard against any defects in materials and craftsmanship. In the following section, we address common inquiries regarding our warranties, including the duration of coverage and some of the specific coverage. Understanding our warranty terms will help you make informed decisions and fully enjoy the benefits of our pool barrier systems.
Katchakid is committed to providing exceptional customer care, which is reflected in our comprehensive warranties. We offer warranties against defects in material and craftsmanship, covering both parts and labor. The specific duration of coverage is mentioned in each system’s contract and begins from the date of installation and payment in full.
This warranty is applicable to the Katchakid pool system when it is installed by a Katchakid certified technician on the designated pool and/or spa, and is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s published specifications.
Here are the warranty periods for our products:
- Katchakid Pool Safety Net: 5 years
- Katchaleaf Mesh Pool Cover: 5 years
- Katchakid Pool Fence: 10 years
During the respective warranty periods, we stand behind our products and will address any issues arising from defects in materials or workmanship. Please refer to the specific warranty documentation for further details or contact us for any warranty-related inquiries or claims.
Katchakid’s warranty does not cover damage caused by repairs, pets, or wild animals, including rodents. To protect your pool cover when it’s not in use, we recommend storing it in an animal deterrent box or a secure location that prevents access to animals. This precaution will help safeguard your pool cover from potential damage and ensure its longevity.
Katchakid’s warranty is non-transferable to another person. The warranty coverage applies specifically to the original purchaser of the Katchakid system and is not extended to subsequent owners of a property. Therefore, if the property is sold or ownership is transferred, the warranty will not remain valid for the new homeowner. The new homeowner may contact Katchakid directly to inquire about service options.
The term “act of God” is a legal expression used to describe natural disasters or events that occur beyond human influence, including earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, or lightning strikes. These events are unpredictable and uncontrollable, making it difficult for manufacturers or sellers to offer warranty coverage for damages caused by them.
Katchakid warranties specifically cover defects in materials or workmanship, which are aspects within our control as the manufacturer. Acts of God, on the other hand, are regarded as external forces that lie outside the realm of human influence. Therefore, they are not included in the warranty coverage since they are events that are beyond reasonable control.
Once your warranty has expired, the responsibility for any repair or replacement costs lies with you. If you require repair services or need suggestions for resolving your issue, please feel free to contact us. We strive to provide excellent service and support. However, please note that Katchakid reserves the right to decline servicing a system if we determine it to be non-repairable.
Although Katchakid warranties may differ in specific terms, there are several common exclusions that are typically not covered. These exclusions include, but are not limited to:
a. Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or improper handling.
b. Repairs or modifications performed without authorization.
c. Damage caused by acts of God or natural disasters.
d. Damage caused by animals.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and it’s important to review the warranty documentation for your specific product to understand the complete scope of coverage and exclusions.
