Every photograph on this website was taken at a real Katchakid installation — a real family’s backyard, a real pool we were trusted to protect. These are not stock images, and they are not free to use.

All photographs, images, video and text on katchakid.com and in our print materials are the property of Katchakid, Inc., and are protected by United States copyright law. Copying, downloading, republishing or reusing them — on a website, a social media account, a marketplace listing, an advertisement, or anywhere else — without our written permission is copyright infringement.

What that means in practice. Under U.S. copyright law, infringement carries statutory damages of $750 to $30,000 per image — rising to as much as $150,000 per image where the infringement is willful — plus court costs and legal fees. We monitor for unauthorized use, including through reverse-image searches, and we act on it: we file DMCA takedown notices with Google, Meta, Yelp, hosting providers and online marketplaces, and we pursue damages and injunctive relief where warranted.
