Working Together To Keep Our Little Pumpkins Safe!
Having an impact on children’s lives, knowing that our pool safety awareness efforts and our pool safety barriers help to keep children safe, makes working at Katchakid truly special. We also get to attend cool events, sharing in the special magic and excitement that little children bring to each holiday and season. So our Katchakid Florida team were thrilled to be asked to set up a drowning prevention awareness table at the Seal Swim Schools, 2015 Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch in Lutz, Florida.
Many local supporters came out to enjoy the fun with their community. The national Pool Safely Campaign donated “Water Watcher” lanyards, important pool safety information handouts and branded beach balls, which were a huge hit with the kids. Katchakid’s Linda & Hailey did a great job of signing children and adults up to take the pool safely pledge – raising pool safety awareness in a safe, and friendly environment.
The Lowry Park Zoo kindly entertained the little ones with opossums, tarantulas, a parrot and an exciting blue tongue skink. Sweet & Sassy Hair Salon was on hand to create free princess hairstyling for the little girls and with the pumpkin patch, face painting, photo booth and various arts & craft opportunities, special memories were made by all.
